ABOUT US
Lebanon Tattoo Supply’s journey began in 2012, when Wassim Eid, a tattoo artist himself, recognized a critical gap in the Middle East’s tattoo industry—quality supplies were hard to come by. Starting with a small shop and a handful of essential products, Wassim embarked on a mission to reshape the landscape of tattoo equipment in the region. His path was not an easy one. Limited access to reliable supplies, skepticism from the local community, and the challenge of building a business from scratch in an emerging industry posed constant hurdles.
However, Wassim’s deep passion for tattooing and dedication to the craft drove him forward. Determined to bring the best products to Lebanon, he traveled extensively across Europe and North America, forging relationships with some of the world’s leading tattoo equipment brands, including FK Irons, Microbeau, World Famous Inks, and Cheyenne Tattoo Equipment. These trips—time-consuming and resource-intensive—were pivotal in securing the high-quality products that would set Lebanon Tattoo Supply apart.
In 2019, as Lebanon Tattoo Supply was gaining momentum, a devastating betrayal occurred. The manager entrusted to help grow the company turned on Wassim and stole Lebanon Tattoo Supply’s operations. For two years, Wassim battled on two fronts—building Canada Tattoo Supply in Ottawa while watching Lebanon Tattoo Supply’s reputation be tarnished. Despite the setback, Wassim refused to let the brand die and slowly rebuilt Lebanon Tattoo Supply’s reputation, regaining the trust of loyal customers.
As the business grew, so did the demand. Over the years, Lebanon Tattoo Supply expanded to four different locations, each new space presenting its own set of challenges. However, Wassim’s commitment to excellence never wavered. He understood that to make a lasting impact, adaptability, learning, and growth were essential. Throughout his journey, Wassim never offered empty praise to beginners or scratchers simply to encourage them to make a purchase from Lebanon Tattoo Supply. Instead, he always provided honest feedback and worked hard to educate others, helping them understand the tattoo standards necessary for success in the industry. Wassim believed in empowering artists through knowledge, ensuring that every customer—whether new to the craft or a seasoned professional—was fully equipped to create their best work.
In 2019, Wassim’s vision reached beyond Lebanon with the launch of Canada Tattoo Supply, which quickly gained recognition in North America. Yet, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected setbacks, halting the rapid growth Wassim had worked tirelessly to achieve. Still, his resilience prevailed. That same year, Wassim partnered with leading brands to launch groundbreaking products in Beirut, marking a milestone in the region’s tattoo industry.
Wassim’s influence extended even further when he founded the first-ever tattoo convention in the Middle East, solidifying his commitment to the growth of the regional tattoo community. His efforts to elevate the industry—through a focus on safety, hygiene, and education—have had a profound and lasting impact.
Today, Wassim’s vision remains focused on providing tattoo artists, both new and seasoned, with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. His future goals include ensuring access to the safest practices and the most advanced equipment, empowering artists to create their best work.
The story of Lebanon Tattoo Supply is one of dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to the art of tattooing and the community it serves. Wassim’s journey has transformed the tattoo industry in the Middle East, and he continues to push boundaries, inspiring artists and suppliers alike.
